Tech. Note 9: U.I. Scale
On systems with Hi-Def and HiDPI displays the U.I. display is scaled
(increased in size).
The following notes are the details of how this is implemented on each
operating system platform.
Windows
U.I. scaling is implemented in the FlatLAF Look and Feel package, Java Runtime and operating system and enabled
by default in Guiffy. Java 1.9 or later runtime is required.
MacOS
U.I. scaling is implemented in the Java Runtime and operating system and enabled
by default in Guiffy. Java 1.9 or later runtime is required.
Linux
U.I. scaling is implemented in the FlatLAF Look and Feel package. FlatLAF
detects the U.I. scaling factor and adjusts the U.I. font and image sizes.
Dialog sizes are adjusted by Guiffy. Guiffy's Font Option used to adjust size
of fonts in compare views.
